Prices Expected to go up on many Items in Geneva, Alabama

There are a few things that are coalescing into a perfect financial storm right now that will likely lead to higher prices on consumer goods in Alabama. These price hikes are expected to hit small towns in like Geneva, Alabama hardest:

Hurricanes usually end up delaying parcel services and shipments like UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc. Anything ordered on Amazon or through a normally reliable online version of a brick and mortar store could end up being delayed weeks or more. Hurricanes often cause scarcity so gas prices, lodging, restaurants … anything someone fleeing from a hurricane is likely to need.
